  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons honey (or brown sugar)

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or lime juice)

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • ¼ cup water

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional for flavor)

For Serving:

  • Cooked rice or noodles

  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

🥢 Directions

  1. Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, water, and sesame oil. Set aside.

  2. Cook the Shrimp:
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.

  3. Stir-Fry the Vegetables:

  4. Combine Everything:
Return shrimp to the pan, pour in the sauce, and toss well. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything beautifully.

  5. Serve:
Spoon over rice or noodles, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and enjoy a vibrant, tasty meal!
